Truffles loves helping kids and now you and your kitty can help kids too! In 2023, we posted a video of Truffles enjoying a pair of custom-made colorblindness glasses. We actually had a huge, unexpected outpouring of interest from other cat owners, all of whom also wanted to see if their cats would enjoy their own pair of color blindness glasses. While it’s impossible to test and know for sure that cats do in fact see colors differently with these glasses, we do know for sure that kids who are colorblind benefit greatly from them.

With this in mind, we are happy to announce we have created “Kitties Helping Kids” with the help of some fabulous and really charitable companies.

Purchase a pair of colorblindness glasses for your cat and help a child too!

By purchasing a pair of Colorblindness glasses for your feline friend, you will also be providing a second pair of color-assisting glasses for a child who is colorblind. Every pair purchased provides a free pair to a child who needs them or supplies a school classroom with non-prescription color assisting glasses.

We are currently accepting nominations for children or classrooms that would benefit from the Kitties Helping Kids program. Parents/Guardians/Doctors of colorblind children or teachers who would like to own a pair for their classroom can use the nomination form below.
